A Good Book?

I am looking to borrow (or for suggestions so I can try to find the time to visit the Library) of a few good books while I am recovering. I am open to reading most any type (fiction, non-fiction) but prefer Christian oriented books.

Any suggestions, please send them my way! Or, if you have any I can borrow, please send them to me. Borrowing is a good thing! :o)

This past summer, I stopped reading fiction (and many non-fiction books as well) for about 10 weeks. It was a great time to be able to spend more time in THE WORD! So, my plan is to do this again in January for a few weeks. Therefore, I think as a Christmas present, I can allow myself to indulge in a few good books!!

Sorry, I am late commenting on this post so it's probably too late...

I love to read, but haven't done as much recently as I would like. My favorite authors right now are Bodie Thoene and Karen Kingsbury...something about the Karen Kingsbury books just make me bawl. And I love historical fiction, so Thoene is high on my list. Francine Rivers is good too. I also just read a book by Rachel Hauck called Loves Starts with Elle, a light, easy-reading book but it still spoke to me.
