Merry Christmas Everybody!

Merry Christmas! I wanted to wish all my blog readers a MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Praising God for the manger as well as the cross tonight!

Update on Christmas Morning:

I hope you are enjoying the beginnings of a MERRY CHRISTMAS DAY!! :o)

Several folks have emailed me to find out "where I am at." Well, due to everything going on with my parents, my mom's recent health issues, and the fact I am still slow moving, my parents asked/suggested I stay at my house. Shelton has also been sick and is on special food, meds, etc. So, it would be a lot to pack everyone up and move to their house.

God already had the details taken care of as my puppy sitter is able to help me out on Friday (one day I did not have any puppy coverage) and I trust the rest will come together.

So, the family is coming over for Christmas lunch at my house. My sister has been busy lifting, moving stuff so we can fix dinner. She lifts the stuff, and I mix up a few goodies. The ham is in the oven (Shelton and Molly are going to go crazy smelling it all day!!), and all the other stuff is mixed and ready to be baked throughout the day.

Feel free to come on over and say "Hi" any time! I'll be here.

It is really weird to not be going home for the holidays. I have always been big on heading to mom and dad's for Christmas. Yet, I have a sense of peace about this year. Last night, I curled up in my comfy chair, turned on the Christmas Tree, and watched "It's a Wonderful Life." I also dozed off and on due to pain medication, but it was a nice memory. I then read/worked on bible study. At midnight, I was able to greet many people with a Merry Christmas Txt. It's more than that, for me, I know that no matter where I am at, Christ is always with me. Whether you live in the finest mansion or have no home at all, Christmas can always be in your heart. It's not about the location. After all, wasn't our Lord delivered in a simple stable?

PS: I am also excited as I can finally shower today!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME!! (Ok, I had been bathing) YEAH!!! I had to wait two days after surgery due to the incisions.
