I hope this email finds you well. . . I am writing to wish you a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I hope that it is one filled with family, friends, and lots of blessings. Please remember that on this day we celebrate a tiny babe's amazing birth and more importantly, his death and resurrection on the cross. I am looking forward to this Christmas with great anticipation. . . not for presents or a big meal, but for the time to rest and focus on Christ. This is a time to see my family, friends, and celebrate all the blessings of 2008!
Please remember that I will have surgery on Tuesday, December 23. The procedure is scheduled to begin around 11:30. I am humbly asking people to remember me in prayer that day. God is faithful! Too many details came together for this to happen at this time and I know he is in control. Please pray for the surgeon, the procedure, and for a quick recovery. I will try to send an update that evening, but it may be the following day. I plan to be at my house until late on Christmas Eve and then go to my parents.
God Bless! Merry Christmas!
