Valentine's Day Blessings!

I have really been blessed today! I came home from work at lunch to do a little laundry (ok, it was hard to find clothes this morning so I decided to take advantage of an hour lunch break since that is not normally the norm). I've been under the weather most of the week, but started feeling better today.

First, I cleared my desk off!! WHEW! Ok, now I have two charts on my desk for stuff to do on Monday, but I am not worried about that!

Then, I got laundry (some of it) done over lunch. When I came home, I found I had a surprise Valentine's day package from my siesta from the Siesta Fiesta Group! Thank you, Lisa, for being my Valentine! I opened it up, only to find a nice box of DOVE Chocolate. A few weeks ago, I was looking at the candy and really wanted some Dove Chocolate. I wouldn't let myself buy it. There were also several scrapbooking items along with a great note in the box!! Totally cool and very uplifting!

Tomorrow night, I was given HOCKEY tickets. . . I am a little bummed about the fact they were someone's Valentine's Day plans and they are now cancelled, but must confess, I am excited to have them. I love hockey and have never felt like I should spend the money to go to a professional game.

I had plans to keep someone's little girl for a few hours to lend a hand.

I guess my "quiet" weekend has now turned out to be a bit busy, but with good things! I am enjoying some time resting tonight and snuggling with Shelton and Molly. I am listening to John Waller's CD (one of his songs is featured on the movie, Fireproof). It is pretty good.

Another One of my fav. songs is. . .

The Blessing
. . .

The chorus says:

This Day you set Life, you set Death right before us. This Day Every Blessing and Curse is a choice now. And, we will choose to be a blessing for life.

I have so many people who are blessings in my life!

I made a card last week for a friend's mom who is facing surgery soon.

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
