Prayer Request Update

Please keep my parents in your prayers. They have another busy week filled with appointments. We are still trying to make some decisions on "everything" that is going on. I know that I have been a bit vague on some details, and I ask that you respect that I can only ask for prayers. In God's time, all will be revealed. Our God is so faithful and I have grown closer to him daily. I love seeing him meet every need- no matter how small or how big!

I have two important appointments this week- Wednesday is my pre-op. Friday afternoon is my second opinion. After praying, I have decided to go back to meet with the foot/ankle specialist I saw last July. He was very knowledgeable, nice and reassuring then, so I felt led to seek his opinion prior to this surgery. He told me then he felt the screws would need to come out, so I doubt his opinion will change. I am going to a CE on Saturday in the same town, so the timing worked out for travel! God's always in control of the details!!

I will be staying in my house following surgery. I am in the process of arranging doggie care and a few other "things." I should be ambulatory with crutches only for assistance. I am thinking that there will be lots of bible study. . . crafting. . . blogging and emailing! And work on an upcoming mission trip!!! I am so excited about that!! Please keep that in your prayers!! More details to follow!!

I would like to ask that you be in prayer for some friends, Matt and Meredith. They are in the process of adoption and have been selected by a birthmom. Praise God for that!! Please pray for them, the birthmom, and this baby.

And, I would like to ask for prayers for a blogging buddy's baby, Stellan. Stellan has been staying in SVT for almost 4 weeks now. He will have an ablation on Tuesday, which is very risky for an infant. I have a button for her blog posted.

Thanks for letting us know what we can pray for, Ivy. I know you must have a lot on your mind. I'll pray for peace as well. I hope you don't have to have the surgery, but more than that I hope things end up for the best in that area! We want you completely well and pain free!
