Some days are just more frustrating then others. . . It seems that we are always dealing with "junk," in life. As a Christian, I must remind myself that this is not my home. My home is a long way away. . . and is perfect, is where my KING lives, is a great place. Can I sign up to go there now?
Many of you know my frustration about some changes at work. . .and, yet it continues. Yesterday, I went into work to be "confronted" as to why I still needed so many days off. You see, my 1/2 day is changing. There is nothing I can do about it. It sucks, period. It doesn't work well for my family, it just doesn't. So, as a compromise, I was told to list each Wed. afternoon I "needed" off and that would be honored. OK, so I made the list. Well, it is a lot of Wednesdays throughout the upcoming year. My dad and mom are having a lot of health problems. I have follow-up appointment scheduled. I have a life outside of the office. I actually moved several of the appointments in order to try to accommodate this change. Not to mention that my grandmother was to come and stay with me 1/2 the week and that doesn't work out now due to this change (moving to Monday afternoons for my 1/2 day vs. Wed. afternoons). The plan was for her to come Wed. afternoon through Sunday. She can't stay through Monday b/c she has in home help on Monday mornings.
All of this on top of my grandmother telling me over the weekend, well, if you can't work it out, maybe I should just go to a nursing home. My parents can't keep on doing all they are doing. Yet, my grandmother (although 87) is highly functioning.
It is frustrating. . .I am still seeking and praying about this. . .I know God has a plan and a reason for all of this. . .
Thanks for praying!!

Oh Ivy.
I don't even know what to say.
I have no clue why things like this happen, but I'm so sorry and know that we love you.
UGH work issues can really really . . . .suck sometimes (as much as I hate that word, it's probably better than another one I'd like to use every once in a while).
Thanks, Amanda!!
