The Stars. . .

Tonight, the stars amazed me as I walked out to put the trash by the curb. . . I am not 100% sure tomorrow is my trash day due to the holiday today, but about 50% of my neighbors had put theirs out, so I decided to chance it. I am so glad I did. . .As I was walking back to my house. . .(OK, confession time in my pajamas and overcoat!) I looked up at the stars. . . my mind went to the following verse from my Bible Reading. . .

Psalm 136:1-9

1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good.
His love endures forever.

2 Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.

3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.

4 to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.

5 who by his understanding made the heavens,
His love endures forever.

6 who spread out the earth upon the waters,
His love endures forever.

7 who made the great lights—
His love endures forever.

8 the sun to govern the day,
His love endures forever.

9 the moon and stars to govern the night;
His love endures forever.

It is so true, his love endures forever. . .No matter your situation in life, no matter what is going on, no matter the issues (and there will always be issues). . .God's love endures forever. When we step away, when we feel unworthy, when we are unsure. . .God's love is always present. . .

As I was looking at the stars tonight, my mind immediately thought Wow, I would love to be on the beach, sitting there curled up in a warm blanket, coffee (Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha to be exact) looking at the stars all night. . . I haven't done that in a long time maybe I need to stop and do that soon. . . To marvel and take time to appreciate His creation. That is what I hope to do with my photography- capture a small glimpse of his beauty. It is one beautiful world despite the ugly situations that creep in from time to time and even in those situations, one can choose to find beauty. . . For, Our God's love endures forever.
